Western leaders are insane to think flooding their already resource constrained and overcrowded countries with thousands of 3rd worlders is a good thing for their nation. How are housing, health care, insurance and other public benefit costs now? Would competing against many more people in your territory in the zero-sum conflict for these resources be a good thing for the average European? Of course not. Just like it's not good for the average American or Canadian.

Additionally, diluting the native population's power in democratic politics where ethnic blocks equal more votes and more power, it is doubly bad for the current citizens of Western nations.
