alt Hacker NewsGLP-1 drugs carry a small risk of gastroparesis, which can be severe in some patients. I wouldn't recommend avoiding using them due to that risk if medically indicated but patients should be aware.

Diabetes can cause gastroparesis too. I assume a large number of folks taking these drugs are diabetic.
