alt Hacker NewsOh, this is actually very helpful for me! I have an AI copilot extension for LibreOffice Writer and I need to export the doc to a text file before sending it to the LLM. The problem is that I lose the semantic formatting (eg heading).

I know nothing about libre but in MS Word there's the office api you can use to send MD to an API, there's nothing similar? It's great to be able to read/write directly in MD.
