Percy Shelley's poem Ozymandias plays in my head every time I see another short-sighted action by this administration that will cause long-term damage to our Republic:

  > And on the pedestal, these words appear:
  > "My name is Ozymandias, King of Kings;
  > Look on my Works, ye Mighty, and despair!"
