If people spent a small amount of fuss to make sure they never paid for an ad-ridden spyware OS just to fulfill their "takes a few HDMI in" requirements, then we wouldn't be struggling with ad-ridden spyware OS TVs now.
To me "a lot of fuss" includes having to sign up for a walmart account and dealing with ads being shoved in my face
