Seriously, I moved all of my personal projects to a self-hosted Forgejo and all my open-source projects to Codeberg and haven't looked back.

As soon as they support groups/folders I will switch. But I can't as my gitlab is all setup in many folders and sub projects.

Having to rewrite all my CI will suck but will be worth it.

The market for people paying for Gitlab (Which feels more like GitHub but for Enterprise these days) is probably not even slightly overlapping with the market for people running Forgejo.
