alt Hacker NewsNetflix has the same problem. Downloaded some TV shows for my daughter to watch while we were travelling. Worked fine on the plane, arrived to the hotel, connected to WiFi "This content is not available in your location". Ok, disconnect, don't need wifi. Same message, "This content is not available in your location".

FWIW this is why I travel with a OpenWRT router runnning a Tailscale pipe to my basement. Get to travel with US media access.
I spent a couple of years travelling around the world, and this is what drove me to piracy. Every time I moved country, the streaming services would change and the show I was watching yesterday is no longer available in this country.
Luckily the torrent sites are available from every country.
