Joe Biden says ‘oligarchy’ emerging in US in final White House address

Average American is suffering and it's them who's coping with the idea that a small percentage of Americans are at least getting extremely wealthy.

US is threatening to invade Canada and Greenland, this sort of rhetoric is beyond unhinged. The US under Trump has literally been downgraded as a 'liberal democracy' and is now an 'electoral democracy' the same category as Hungary under Orban. https://www.v-dem.net/documents/75/V-Dem_Institute_Democracy...

The EU has no giants, what you listed are large companies:

Only because he was sour cause his side lost despite all the US oligarchy minus Musk supporting the democrats but somehow that wasn't a problem for him.

Or how he pardoned his own son. That part wasn't an oligarchy issue I guess.

>Average American is suffering

Yes, like I said, because of their government.

>The US under Trump has literally been downgraded as a 'liberal democracy' and is now an 'electoral democracy' the same category as Hungary under Orban.

Yes, that was my point, that the US government is to blame, not the corporations. Corporations only behave based on the limits the government imposes. If the administration or the government turns blind eye or is even complacent to corruption, then corporations will exploit that because that's now the bar to clear to satisfy investor growth expectations. If you want corporations to change the you need to vote a government that puts its foot down or corporations but that won't happen when the stock market and people's 401Ks are going up thanks to corruption.

Disingenuous argument. EU's "large but not-giants companies" is merely a BS technicality, since were definitely giants in the past when Europe had a much bigger slice of the global GDP, 30 or so years ago, but now you're reframing EU's economic decline as "not having giants", which while technically making you correct, since they're not giants anymore, it's not because they voluntarily gave up economic conquest and wanted to have no giants by choice, it's because they just lost the rootless globalist economic race through a cumulation of various issues plaguing Europe over time.

It's incompetence, not benevolence why EU currently has no giants. After all, we are talking about the continent that conquered and colonized all of the world at various points in the not too distant past. It's not like they don't know how the game works, they're the ones who designed it in the first place and exported it all over the world.
