Comedy gold is what it didn't occur to you what that was a typo in my comment.
Now go consistently copy-paste text (at least) and files over your VNC connection.
I used latex on occasion for about a decade after graduation, but now it’s only my CV I use, and I’m getting rusty. Markdown is far more covienient.
Never used Tex specifically.
