I wonder if she called herself after hours when she was running her private “editing business” before she succeeded her husband in Michigan’s legislature. Would she as the CEO be allowed to call herself at her home phone number as an employee to fix a spelling error in her “editing” before emailing it to the client? Would she be allowed to send the “edited” urgent PDF to the client? According to the bill wording, she will be able to think that “a spelling needs fixing” but she as a CEO could be fined for forcing herself to fix the spelling error for her client!
Of course this senator has an academic background you would also expect (Master of Arts in Art and Architectural History).
Oh well, let’s just avoid hiring in Michigan and start automating all the things.

Oh no, business owners won't be able to "generate more wealth" for themselves. Trickle-down is already shown to be not a thing.
Recent job ad in my town for a burrito restaurant, word for word: "Part time kitchen assistant wanted, up to 10-15 hours a week, $17/hr. Must have full time availability".
Basically wanting someone to sit around by their phone, unable to work anywhere else, in the hopes of making ~$200 a week. Wow. That would almost pay for half of the median 1br apartment rental cost in this not particularly special town.
But do go on about how us liberals are fucking the economy.
