The first read was 'automatic'. I read it and my brain formed an impression of what the sentence meant, and I had no conscious knowledge of the sentence structure.

The second read was deliberate, and motivated by trying to understand my initial confusion. I considered the sentence structure and realized that 'mine included' could, if you ignore strict grammar rules, refer to 'communities' (which made more sense in context) and not 'works'.

Reading the sentence twice slows down your mind enough to consider the earlier context that, given who this person is and everything else they're writing here, it makes a lot more sense that "mine" is referring the community and not AI works, which is the simpler first read only because one object is physically closer to the possessive than the other.
