I'm sure her assassination was political and likely ordered by people in Ecuador that the US administration is aligned with, but I doubt the US presidency had anything directly to do with, or cares about her assassination.

And this isn't meant as a defense of the wildly corrupt US presidency, I just can't imagine they would care if she found and publicized the truth. It (unfortunately) wouldn't change anything as far as the US is concerned.

The truth, for the people who support the current US presidency, is whatever Fox/Newsmax/OAN/CBS tells them it is and all of the US governmental checks and balances are currently non-functional. Why go through the trouble of being involved in killing a prosecutor in Ecuador when even if she could prove that something nefarious was going on, that revelation would just be another thing in the flood-the-zone pile that would be forgotten about in a couple of days with no accountability for anyone involved?
