HN isn't a bunch of disconnected communities that sometimes overlap due to algorithmic feeds. It's one community with one front-page.

What do you mean? HN doesn't have a social graph. It's an entirely different beast as far as I'm concerned.

Hacker News and X/Twitter don't have nothing at all in common. For example, both of them use HTML.
