Race Marxism leads to things like non-Asian minorities not qualifying for advanced math classes at the same rate as other races being given as proof that having advanced math classes violates the ideological principal of the blank slate and proves that advanced math classes are therefore fundamentally racist and those classes must be canceled. This actually happens in San Francisco schools and the school board got recalled over it.

Generally, this strategy is nothing more than yet another wedge to get people to hate each other and call for communist revolution as the only solution to all problems. The whole edifice of grievance politics created by Herbert Marcuse was to create a catalog of things to get upset about because the economic realities of western capitalism were too good to get people stirred up to hate each other over class conflict. The woke right does the same thing with just a different group of people with a grievance (i.e White people), which is why Lindsay criticizes them equally. That's what communism is though: Inventing reasons for people to hate each other so they give power to communists to unleash their hate upon their enemies usually in some big purge of everyone they don't like and is not subservient to them. Happens in every communist revolution. Communist morality is always performative and the people they claim to represent usually fare much worse under the regime. The ones who thought they were going to get cushy sinecures in the new regime are usually the first ones to get executed (e.g first wave of Russian revolutionaries) or at best sent to rural areas to do hard labor (e.g Mao's red guards).
