If you don't have any influence over how your kid acts at school and what he learns from the experience there then you're not parenting.
At some point your kid is going to move out or you will die and then you will have even less influence. School is a test for that.
You have limited influence. The school has a lot more. Would you choose a school with a bad reputation for letting children watch brainrot all day? What if every school is like that and you don't really have a choice - would you homeschool? Or would you say the government should maybe tell the schools to stop doing that?
