My grandfather lived in a time when commercial hunting went from viable to being outlawed --- I was worried that my children might live in a time when commercial fishing ceases to be tenable, but now that seems a near certainty.

Consider that we now have more tons of ships in the sea than there are bony fish:

More and more miles from shore every year

Since they told me I can't sell no stripers

And there's no luck in swordfishing here
