As if X was an official government publishing channel . WTH, they should publish it on they official government pages.
This right here is the thing that shows how much influence big tech has. Everyone has their anecdotal story about porn, spam, malware or whatever flooding Twitter meanwhile your local city government treats it as an official communications channel.
There should be laws that require all government statements to be published on an official government site and be forever archived there no matter where or however else they were published. That way politicians can take advantage of the reach of social media sites while not requiring anyone to use them and also providing a means for those statements to be verified and preserved.
