alt Hacker NewsSeeing "Material 3/Material You" is a negative point for me, not a positive. It's almost comical just how atrocious the UI is. Yes let's make all phones 20% huge-er and all whitespace 40% wider, said no sane person ever.

At least it is now consistent with the rest of the OSs UI.

It’s amazing that you don’t think any of this is based on real HCI.
People prefer larger tap targets on touch screens.

Design is so personal. I love Material 3 Expressive personally. Each to their own :)
