Clothes are a bit complicated but dishes? Industrial non-humanoid robots have been assembling junk foods into trays and shipping them out at scale for decades. Why would it take long from here until they can take bone china plates on and off tables?

Now, whether everyone will be tolerated private ownerships of those robots or whether those will be for communist centralized restaurants in the city at the beginning, that I think is a slightly different issue.
