My idea for innovative self storage pricing: offer free month 1, $1 month 2, $2 month three, $4 month four and so on. Very soon it obviously will become untenable, and you will either stop paying and get your shit out of there.

I probably would be adversely selected by people who really only need a couple months of storage. But would force people to work against their instincts to store all their trash.
