alt Hacker Newsxfs is by far the slowest in "ftruncate empty file to 1G" but the fastest in "ftruncate 256M file to 512M" - does anyone know why?
xfs is by far the slowest in "ftruncate empty file to 1G" but the fastest in "ftruncate 256M file to 512M" - does anyone know why?
Seems like a bug in benchmark code for that test, opened GH issue https://github.com/fenio/modern-fs-benchmark/issues/35
