I’m not a big fan of the bokeh on smartphone cameras. The depth of field isn’t shallow enough to really isolate the subject, yet it’s shallow enough to make background details slightly blurry. As someone who uses a DSLR, I don’t find the nisen bokeh particularly pleasing either. If I were using an iPhone 18 Pro, I’d probably keep it at around f4 for a deeper dof most of the time rather than shooting wide open.
