This machine is deliberately boring and well-supported. Higher end “prosumer” or “pseudo-workstation” motherboard (Asus ProArt X570 Creator), Ryzen 5950X, RX 9070 GPU. I actually swapped the GPU out for a better Linux experience (was originally running a 3080 Ti). Every distribution I’ve tried supports everything out of the box with no hoop-jumping.
