Gnome's sharpest edge is that it has tried to simplify to the point that it doesn't have a UI for the thing I want to do. There might be an extension, and if I'm really lucky, it isn't broken and actually supports the current version.
I've been using it on my tablet, as I do find it to be a nice UI for the touchscreen, but I may switch to KDE because Gnome's onscreen keyboard is horrid, and difficult to replace.
