I get why you would want that, but I don't get why you don't get that it might not be the case for others. I love searching and clicking and reading around. Sometimes I read fascinating things about topics I wasn't searching for. I can't imagine a world where all my web searching is done through an annoying chatbot.
I want to know "the thing".
I want to know who's behind some presentation of their "the thing" as fact.
I want to know who's to benefit from their presenting "the thing" as fact.
AI or not, my needs are still the same and so have to go right to the sources and judge for myself.
First of all, it usually doesn’t work, so “if it worked” remains kinda moot at present. Then I also prefer only typing a few keywords, rather than having to spell out in length what my goal is.
