Oh this is an easy one, because I care about Ukraine more than I care about a million other conflicts that may be happening in the world at the moment.
I think you’ll find that this is the case for everyone - people care about their 2 or 3 pet things and pay little attention to the distractions.

Because some people care a lot more about Ukraine than about a side with pretty unsavory combatants and a radicalized population that supports said unsavory combatants?
