I think a lot of them came from people who never touched code in the first place.

I think a lot of them came from people who never touched code in the first place.
There are probably others who think those comments come from bots.
Many long-tenured blog authors claim they don't touch code anymore as well. I think that lends credibility to the veracity of the claim, as shocking as it is to you as an individual.
