Okay, so what age group do you think is actually likely to host dinner parties, and how has home ownership for that age range trended since 1975? I can't speak for the population as a whole, but I'm in my early thirties, and I'm the only one of my friends in my city who owns his own home, and I think that's directly related to why I host more often than they do.
