alt Hacker NewsThey surely fixed a lot of bugs, but not enough, and they added so many new stupid ones. Mission Control wasn't perfect before, but at least it wasn't buggy. Now there is a bug every two clicks.
Even double-clicking in Finder is broken, many times double-clicks are just ignored.

Thank you for this; this has been driving me nuts the past week and it never once occurred to me it might be a genuine issue with the new OS and not my double-click muscles beginning to fail.
I cant drag and drop any more in finder somehow. it was working fine, now it works and then i have to restart or it is not working at all. what a mess
I use the "Switch to Desktop N" keyboard shortcuts for Mission Control, bound to Ctrl + 1–4, and those shortcuts constantly break in Golden Gate. Usually it only allows me to do Ctrl + 1 for the first desktop, and 2–4 do nothing.
Thankfully you can fix them by running `killall Dock`, until they break again an hour later.
My favorite thing they broke is that there is no longer an animation when launching and dismissing Spotlight in its Launchpad mode (i.e 4 finger pinch on trackpad). I mean there is an animation, but it's only visible if I'm pinching slowly. If I do it at normal speed, there's just a half-second delay and then it pops in or out.
I suspect they made the animation so heavy that it reaches its deadline before it even starts, so it gets skipped.
Not sure if it's better or worse than Tahoe, where the animation (mostly) worked but app icons either popped in all at once a bit later or were rendered one by one from top-left to bottom-right.
It's such a buggy mess. When using my Mac these days I miss the polish of my Linux desktop.
