But, if you give the latest DeWalt OMT to a person who doesn't know or is scared of it, and put them in an organization that is full of politics and bureaucracy, then that tool is going to be useless.

You might be one of the rare few doing that. According to Stripe Economics, the supposed SaaSpocalypse brought about by AI actually resulted in accelerated revenue growth for SaaS. Companies just aren't building these custom SaaS-killers like HN would have us believe.
