Micron profited immensely by exiting the retail RAM / SSD markets. All the big manufacturers used Crucial RAM. Apple, Dell, HP, Lenovo, etc. They are the number one reason RAM is so expensive. They decided it was more important to make trillions selling to the A.I. hyped data center buildouts. They weren't wrong, they made serious money. I'm still rather pissed off about it.
