Pretty cool write-up. Being an EMT is basically the polar opposite of being a software engineer, instead of dealing with computers and automated systems, you are dealing with people and everything is manual, "custom" workflow instead of automated. However it can still use the same debugging, engineering mentality we have. Good luck in whatever comes next to you.
