when left to my own devices without external time constraints (e.g., gradschool), i settle into sleeping from 4am-11am.

but there's a strong cultural bias to judge people that wake up at 11am as lazy. and people that stay up to 4am are reckless.

but somebody that slept the same seven hours from 11pm-6am is pragmatic and responsible.
