now, he is fully in musk orbit, so i expect him to be even more polarizing when speaking publicly.
and ultimately, musk gave him a couple millions to sell grok (starting with full integration into his arch install script he calls a distro).
so, if you follow the money, it is pretty clear he is "just doing his (grok salesman) job"

Agreed. DHH is a promo-businessman now - may have always been that way, but it is very obvious to everyone now.
I think DHH needs to leave the ruby community. And the rails community as well.

Exactly this. I disembarked the DHH train way back in the CouchDB "perform like a pr0n star" scandal days. (If you don't know what this is, look up the article Smut on Rails by Martin Fowler)
