alt Hacker NewsBecause Apple controls the only browser engine that runs on iOS and iPadOS. There are no alternatives. Chrome, Firefox and other browsers are just the browser chrome on top of the Safari/WebKit engine. Apple will not allow anything else.

iOS and iPadOS aren't the most dominant OSes, so therefore this can't be a monopoly.
