I found an independent dentist that's actually on one of the dental boards and he's really well educated and aware of new treatments and doesn't just treat to treat, also not even that expensive. But those dentists are rare, and it's really hard (and expensive) to shop around. If anyone is in Ventura County CA and looking for a good one I can provide a rec.
