I'm not sure what you're trying to say here - I've mostly said that for the corporations you highlighted, "timely" can still mean months for a given security patch to be deployed as things stand.

That's the reality - yes, even for Apple.

If you think they could and should be better - I guess I agree, but it doesn't change the reality.
