That being said, the stock tanked today so I don't think most people are buying it.

Dude, like everything tanked today.
I was going to say, it definitely had an impact. TSLA is a giant company that's long past the point where stunts with no retail value are going to inspire further investment. At this point they need to figure out the fundamentals because the competition (mostly from China) is eating their lunch.
