Absolutely agree—it's disgusting. I use Njalla for my domain even though they aren't a free speech provider, at all, I likely won't come into conflict with them and they won't require KYC.
These companies may as well be citing Ron Swanson's park ordinances for all the relevance those regulations have to their data collection demands.
