Yup. Hyperscalers are going to eat them alive. AWS/Azure/GCP hosted instances of cheaper-but-almost-as-good models like Deepseek are going to eat OAI and Anthropic alive.

They'll need to release cheaper, better models to compete. Which may not be possible.
