Yup, I've done similar HW in the loop with a variety of things, NanoKVM, Intel AMT, a Wemo switch (heh), USB uarts, and the Epiphan VGA2USB (which I didn't realize only had an old binary linux driver, well, until Claude took care of it: https://github.com/ChickenParts/EpiphanVGA2USB). Def probably buying a USB4VC, I have so many retro machines and this will save having to bodge more things together using pi picos. TBH, I have a whole pile of projects that I've just been sitting on, in various states of completion, and no idea when and what to make public lol.
