alt Hacker NewsWhere else were people getting answers and help from between 2018 and AI getting good in the mean time? As I remember it there wasn't really an alternative.
Maybe it was more consolidation of tech and better docs over time.

I was using StackOverflow pretty heavily in that time. I was doing PHP, Java and Groovy at the time, and PHP's documentation is pretty good. JavaDoc generated from source not so much...

Maybe they visited the website and the existing questions were enough? These stats seems to be questions asked. Maybe that’s the reason.
