alt Hacker NewsEvery vibe coded software I’m following has stopped updates after about a week. Is this a change of interest in the developer or did they get lost in the code slop and the AI hit context limits to quality essentially locking out further changes?

It is because it makes $0 and they spend $100 - $1,000 on tokens.
People are creating projects by paying money and not time, things that they wouldn't actually invest time into.
I suspect that this fad will die out when LLM capabilities are no longer as exciting.
