Maybe I'm intensely schizophrenic or something but I can just clearly hear the AI in this and it sounds grating to me.

The problem with AI performances is that they're too perfect, which leaves them flat. The dynamics and imperfections of human performance have yet to be replicated. That affects every human performance whether or not you notice you're noticing (but you are). AI is still in the uncanny valley here.
