alt Hacker NewsIt's not actually glass but a different synthetic/plastic. They do, however, make a stainless steel version. A lot of food safe stainless steel products are coated in PFAS though.

I own one. It's glass and cast aluminum. Pricey but feels very solid. The glass does not get hot. It's very think.
Now I'm going down the same rabbit hole I went down when people started talking about using wax instead of plastic, trying to determine if something being glass means it's definitely not plastic.
It does look like things we recognize as glass aren't plastic. So that's nice!
