Blah blah blah, AMD so great.

The truth is this is more of the same tech inflationary pressure driven by AI. AMD is winning for showing up. Don't get me wrong, AMD does have technically superior products for specific applications, but that never really mattered.

Ryzen and EPYC have been doing crazy kickflips since around 2018 in both value and performance. Since Ryzen 3000/Zen 2 things hit parity on IPC generally, and Ryzen 5000/Zen 3 and beyond has just been total crush mode. Especially after 3d cache was intro'd.
