Less car traffic is great for liveable cities though. In my city they have pedestrianised major roads recently and it's been really amazing. People sitting on benches, enjoying the sun, where before it was hard to talk because of all the traffic noise. Unfortunately those streets have gone up in price a lot too because it's much better to live there now.

And yes but those road deaths are caused by cars. There's just more victims on bikes because there's so many bikes around.
