(I am the author the pipeline, just created an account to answer some questions :D) My goal is to work towards a vuln-free Internet. What I observed is that stronger models can find many more vulnerabilities that weaker models cannot. If compute permits (there are other projects to secure besides Linux), I plan to scan Linux again with every newer generation of cyber models.
You’d know better than anyone that nothing can truly be vulnerability free. Even if the attack surface were only the code it would be impossible. But, the attack surface includes you creating the tooling. It includes me the end user. Not just our actions, but our thoughts, conscious and unconscious.

Have you given thought on how you can use this info to estimate how many vulnerabilities there are?
It will be difficult to claim that the problem has been solved without an idea of how big the problem is.
Given that vulnerabilities are almost entirely unknown, you are inherently trying to measure the undetected.
Is there a way to hypothesize how many vulnerabilities there are and them make a prediction on how many of those will be found by a model to get a sense of how accurate the estimate is?
