Decreased it. I no longer carry the entire code base in my head. Used to be someone could describe issue to me & I could know exact line where bug was. Sometimes laying in bed I'd realize some line was wrong
I accept this loss because the productivity is there. & hope to retire in a few years if things don't go south. For people entering the field I worry
