I'd bet the future is in combined AI-driven 3D modelling + rendering + AI post-processing. This pipeline solves quite a bit of typical image generation problems.

I have had some success recently, generating concepts in MidJourney, and then getting Opus recreate in 3D. Definitely a workflow I will be experimenting more with.
